From the Pont ar Daf car park the path climbs to Corn Du and then Pen y Fan, the highest summit in southern Britain at 886 m. It is a short walk, around 6.5 km there and back, but the big ridges and views over Bannau Brycheiniog make it unforgettable.

Pen y Fan from Pont ar Daf (Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Wales) is an out-and-back route, 3.3 km each way: 6.5 km as drawn, with 428 m of climbing to the turning point. This is the direct path from Pont ar Daf. The longer 7.5 km figure you may see quoted is for a longer version of the walk.

A route poster turns a day out into something to hang. The terrain styles show the ground the route crosses, and you can add the date, who you went with and your own line of text.

Questions

What sizes can I get?

A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) is £24.99 and A2 (42 x 59.4 cm) is £29.99. Both are printed in the UK on archival paper, and you see the poster before you pay.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery in the UK is free and takes 3 to 7 working days after you order. Every poster is made to order.

Can I use my own GPX file instead?

Yes. On the design page you can upload a GPX file from Strava, Garmin, Komoot or similar. It is read in your browser and the file itself is never uploaded, and your poster then uses your own route.

How was this route drawn?

Route traced from OpenStreetMap, with elevation from public terrain data. This is the direct path from Pont ar Daf. The longer 7.5 km figure you may see quoted is for a longer version of the walk. If you walked a different version, upload your own GPX file.

Can I change the words on the poster?

Yes. The title, the extra line, the place, the date and which stats show are all editable before you order.
