A walk in the middle of Edinburgh: from Holyrood Park the route climbs past Salisbury Crags to the summit of Arthur's Seat at 251 m, the remains of an ancient volcano, and returns by Dunsapie Loch. About 5 km with a little under 250 m of climbing, it is a favourite for visitors and locals.
